Pelagos 39
The watch, which has been one of the bestsellers in the brand's portfolio for ten years, despite being a pure diver, has acquired a younger and smaller "brother". While Tudor communicates the new Pelagos 39 as a fashion watch, it is still more of a performance-oriented functional timepiece. This is confirmed by the lightweight titanium case and the strain, which can be easily and quickly extended so that it can be worn over a wetsuit. The watch also comes with a flexible rubber strap with a thorn buckle. While the model doesn't have a helium valve, as is the case with the larger, 42mm version, it is water resistant to 200 meters, which will reliably protect the movement during water sports. The latter, like the rest of the collection, is manufactory made and offers COSC certification. It is therefore again a precision automatic chronometer that achieves a power reserve of up to 70 hours. The dial remains true to tradition, accompanied by a "snowflake" hour hand and the iconic seconds hand. Its black colour gives way to composite ceramic indices, which are made from a single piece of material and emit blue light thanks to Super-LumiNova luminescence. The unidirectionally rotating lunette has a ceramic insert and the scale is luminescent, as is the case with the hands and indices. Whether you wear them in the city or for sports is probably not important, what matters is that you can rely on the new Pelagos 39 in all situations.
